to Somers Library
The Somers Library is located in Reis Park on the east side of Route
139,
about half-way between Route 100 and Route 202.
GPS users can use the following: 80 Primrose St., Katonah, New York
From I-84 /
I-684:
Take
Interstate 684 (North or South) to Exit 6 (the Cross River-Katonah
Exit).
Turn west onto Route 35.
Go approximately two (2) miles until you come to the
traffic light at the intersection of Routes 35 & 100. Turn right
(North) onto Route 100 and continue for approximately one (1) mile.
Make a left onto Route
139, heading toward Lincolndale.
Continue on this curvy, hilly road for nearly one (1) mile, where you will see road signs for the park.
Turn right into Reis Park.
The Somers Library is
the first stone building on the left.
From Jefferson Valley / Mahopac (Route 6):
Take
Route 6 to Route 118 in Baldwin Place.
Continue on Route 118 until you come to a traffic
light.
Turn Left onto Route 202.
Continue on Route 202 around the
reservoir to two (2) traffic lights.
Bear right at the 2nd traffic light onto Route 139.
Continue on this curvy, hilly road for nearly one (1) mile, where you will see road signs for the park.
Turn left into Reis Park.
The Somers Library is
the first stone building on the left.
From Brewster / Croton Falls (Route 202):
Take Route 202 South, passing the Somers Town House / Elephant Hotel.
Make a right at the corner of Routes 202 and 100, continuing on Route 202.
Continue on this road for approximately one (1) mile and look for Brick Hill Road on the left side.
Turn left and continue up the hill until reaching a traffic light.
Make a left onto Route 139.
Continue on this curvy, hilly road for nearly one (1) mile, where you will see road signs for the park.
Turn left into Reis Park.
The Somers Library is
the first stone building on the left.
